Two Spaces After a Full Stop
I’ve often wondered about why especially Americans tend to write with two spaces after a full stop (or period). Inkwell’s Editorial Service has a nice roundup of why this is, why it’s a sign of your age and why you shouldn’t do it in the first place.

This habit irritates me. It jumps off the page and is distracting to me. It
looks and feels wrong because it is wrong. Many older man pages are written in
this style.
I’m hereby offering to volunteer my time to overhaul this across many tools and documentations, removing the double space altogether. Any takers?
