Mastodon and Linux
David Gerard expertly put into words what I’d sensed ever since joining the Fediverse via Mastodon:
mastodon is the social network for people who have a preferred linux distro
Spot on. Not exclusively, but overwhelmingly so. This also translates into a rather unique intersection of diversity. The majority of participants are male and those self-identifying themselves as female appear to be transgender or queer.
